Bar and Nightclub Consultant Talk on Eco Dancing and Online Rez Sites

If your engagement as a bar and nightclub consultant is to increase marketing pull, whether it be through an eco-friendly change or redirecting business via the Internet, the challenge is ever changing considering the hype both get. Then again, why reinvent the wheel so-to-speak if you can mirror what others who already have had success are doing. Here are two story excerpts recently featured in the San Francisco Chronicle and Nightclub & Bar Magazine: Get Your Dance Crowd to Light Up That Floor! “An interesting new alternative energy source is being harnessed in a SOMA neighborhood nightclub in San Francisco: dance power. Temple Nightclub has become the first spot on the West Coast to install a sustainable dance floor (SDF), which uses dancing as a sustainable source of energy. The energy produced by movement is converted into electricity that is used to make the dance floor react to the public in an interactive way.” Owners or their bar and nightclub consultant can read more here. Are Handshakes and Comp VIP Drinks Out? “Nightlife has always been about a handshake and a smile. It’s a personable business, predicated upon knowing your clientele and understanding their wants and needs — particularly for the bigger ballers and whales that walk through your doors on a [hopefully] consistent basis. Nightclubs have always been slow to jump on the digital bandwagon, largely because they’ve never had to rely on the Internet for their success. Which is why the recent influx of nightlife deal/booking Websites has me a little intrigued. Sites like NiteTables.com, ClubHost.com, VIP-Bottles.com and more are springing up in various top and second-tier markets faster than you can blink, each affording the ability to buy one’s way into a room and many offering a discount for VIP admissions, bottle service and more. They allow guests to check out the venue, see the requirements for admission (whether monetary, group gender breakdown or something else) and book everything right on the spot.” Check out more to improve your bar management services and marketing. Or, feel free to peruse publications on club management services and more at our bookstore. Are you currently opening, renovating or advising a bar and nightclub operation? Is there an eco-friendly product or piece of equipment that you can recommend to our readers like the dance floor talked about in this blog? Please share it here
