– In 2011, Howard Cummins and his firm “Green Restaurant Strategies” and Perry Group International formed an association to offer green restaurant services. Our green restaurant consultant will provide industry experience and support and assist clients to create, maintain and promote a green operation while reducing costs to attain significant savings.
– Howard is a seasoned restaurateur and green restaurant consultant whose thirty-five years of experience include full-scale food and beverage services and operations. His background includes noted San Francisco establishments such as Le Colonial Restaurant, Elka Restaurant at the Miyako Hotel, Harry Denton’s Restaurant, Kimpton group properties, and the opening of Twenty Four at the San Francisco Giant’s Pac Bell (now AT&T) Park. He has overseen over fifty openings and refreshed concept developments and is proficient in green practices. Howard is committed to applying his knowledge of the food and beverage business with his passion for creating sustainable restaurants.
– Since early 2008, Howard has focused his green restaurant consultant efforts on sustainability as it pertains to the restaurant and foodservice industry. He is now bringing the best of both worlds which together assists clients with effective problem solving for the ever-growing challenges of successful hospitality operations within a sustainable framework.
– Mr. Cummins also provides services for PGI and its clients as an Interim Manager and Temporary Corporate Executive for restaurants and bars, catering, foodservice and special event operations.
