Hotel asset management forecasts are getting surveys support for their increased projections that suggest both the national holiday season this year and next year travel expenditures internationally should rise again over the current year. In the USA, surveys by both AAA and Pegasus Solutions predict increases in Americans holiday travel during December. Internationally, markets in South America such as Ecuador and Vietnam in Asia are expected to be among those popular destinations in the New Year for travelers coming from the USA. According to the survey on holiday travel here in the United States: “AAA predicts that just fewer than 92 million Americans are expected to drive or fly 50 miles or more between that timeframe, a 1.4% increase over last year.” Read more why Pegasus also supports these hotel asset management increases. International markets will also benefit from the rise in USA travelers according to this travel survey and hotel advisory: “Americans are ready to travel farther from home than in recent years and are willing to spend what is necessary for their desired vacation, Travel Leaders reports in its 2012 annual Travel Trends Survey. Over 91 percent of Travel Leaders members say clients will spend the same or more on travel in 2012 as compared to last year.” Need other tips to increase next year’s hotel occupancy and average room rate projections?
