Banks needing a California Hotel Receiver should not miss this event!

If you are a lender, creditor or attorney representing one and are seeking to appoint a California hotel receiver as part of a pending foreclosure, learn more about the in and outs of receiverships at this event in Squaw Valley near Lake Tahoe on May 21, 2011. Chaired by Bruce Cornelius, who is an experienced attorney and past president and a current board director of the Bay Area Chapter of the California Receivers Forum, this program will be part of the 23rd Insolvency Conference hosted by the California Bankruptcy Forum. California Hotel ReceiverBeginning at 1:00 PM on Saturday, May 21st and packed with loads of educational information, “this session will discuss the basics of receiverships, compare and contrast California and Nevada law and practices plus discuss the challenges and pitfalls of case transition from a state court receivership to federal bankruptcy.” The panel predominately consists of experienced receivers and attorneys who have handled a variety of businesses and property types including commercial, residential and industrial such as agriculture, apartments, condominiums, lodging, office, retail and mixed-use. There will also be a special panel of bankers and lenders discussing their experience and perspective including where a California hotel receiver might be considered. Those looking to register for this single program only can do so for a reduced fee. There will also be a social add-on if you wish to attend the dinner that night and brunch the next morning.
